Armchairs look great in pairs with one armchair on either side of the sofa. This combination is even better if the armchairs are upholstered in leather with nail-head trim. Our leather upholstered armchairs are carefully tacked by hand with decorative nails by our skilled craftsmen. The seat cushion, the scrolled armrest, and the lower inside seat back of this handcrafted armchair are upholstered in rich, brown full grain leather. The upper inside seat back, the front of the armrest, and all sides of the lower base of the chair are upholstered in embossed full grain leather. The upper inside seat back has a Western cut design with an embroidered Spanish colonial style cross in its center. The reverse seat back and the exterior sides of the chair are upholstered in patterned, real cowhide. The leather is double stitched together for extra strength and durability. The crest of the “C” shaped seat back is decorated with ornate, floral designed, hand carvings. The chair is supported by four, wood turned, trumpet style feet. Both comfortable and durable, this chair is made with the best, sustainable wood available. Upon request, we can make a matching pillow that incorporates many of the same features as the chair.
