The leather is secured with beautiful, gilt nails. Below the horns is a curved, solid wood design, adorned with ornate, hand carved, floral and scroll details. The footboard is built into a bench, and its seat and armrests have an innovative, curved design. The top of the seat and the top of the armrests are upholstered with matching, crocodile pattern, full grain leather. The front side of the seat and the front of the armrests are covered with brown, patterned, full grain leather, and the upholstery is precision hand tacked to the frame with decorative, gilt nails. The leather upholstery is also double stitched together for extra strength and durability. Each lateral side of the bench is covered with a hand hammered, copper panel, with hand tooled, floral designs on its face.
