The back of the seatback is upholstery with black and white, hair on hide cowhide. The leather is precision-tacked to the solid wood frame with decorative finished nails. The entire solid wood base is embellished with forged iron conchos, and the front of each armrest is adorned with a forged iron ring. Below each ring is a carved leaf. The seat is supported by a black finished, turned, trumpet pedestal and the pedestal is carved with marvelous details.
