The solid wood frame of this handcrafted chair is finished with a marvelous, distressed, turquoise stain. Each corner of the top of the frame is adorned with carved scroll designs. The carved details are repeated on each side of the base. Both sides of the padded seatback and the padded seat are upholstered with patterned fine fabric. The upholstery is precision-tacked to the frame with decorative gilt nails. The seat is accompanied with curved armrest, and the armrest end in carved scrolled designs. The chair is supported by curved, slightly splayed legs, and they are joined by a crossbar in the front and in the back.
